MySpace Update & Reading Pagans!

The second banner ad is coming to an end, and I am happy to report that it has been an even bigger success that the first! The Feb. 13th show looks like it will be a great event. The MySpace page is also getting up to date finally with recently added friends. Look for new band pics later today. This Saturday PAGAN will be in Reading PA @ The Imbolc Expo to support our good friend "Tattoo" Joe Mastle, who will be on hand with ink and a selection of his scroll art. Expect pics & video from the event early next week.

MySpace Promotion Round 2!

The second wave of promotion for our Feb. 13th streaming live performance on MySpace begins tomorrow. That a little soon than we initially planned, but after the success of the first run we wanted to keep the momentum. Check back shortly for a first look at the banner.

LIVE & MORE

The first wave of MySpace ads finished yesterday with just shy of 450,000 ad views. This week will be spent adding new content to the page, with a new banner ad debuting next Monday. We have be overrun with emails asking for details about the Feb. 13th show. Look for a FAQ posting on the MySpace tonight that will clear up allot of unanswered questions. Also there will be new limited run hoodies available this week in sizes S-XXXL. Like the "Fallen" shirt, these are expected to sell out within days of release, so order yours ASAP.

MySpace Update

The first round of MySpace ads comes to a close today, and I'm happy to report that it has been a major success. Next week we will focus on adding content to the page, with the second round of ads set to run the following week. As I said before, this is just the beginning. Ads, videos, interviews & more are on the way.

MySpace Promotion Update

The MySpace ad promoting our Feb. 13 webcast show has been a massive success with 350,000 ad views as of this morning. The promotional campaign is just beginning. More ads, interviews, videos & much more are on the way in the next few months leading up to the release of "On Black Wings".

Thatican Video In Production

Shooting began today on the video for "Thatican", the first single off the upcoming album "On Black Wings" & the "Tour De Force: Two" comp. This bound to be banned (I'm looking at you YouTube) clip will be unleashed in Feb.

Working with the good folks @ MySpace, promotion of our Feb. 13th performance kicked off in a BIG way today. Reports are not yet up to date, but at last check the banner had received more than 10,000 views!

NEW SINGLE!!!

Greetings all! We are finally back and with big news: After spending the past few months writing/recording new material at various studios PAGAN is releasing our new single via the Matchbox Recording/Universal Music comp "Tour De Force: Two". The track will make its radio debut in the coming weeks on Matchbox Radio 24. TV promo spots for the release will begin airing on MTV(!) soon. The disc will be available @ all major retailers world wide. Be sure to pick it up, or download PAGAN's track from iTunes.

ALBUM COVER!

Here is the first look at the CD cover of our upcoming album "On Black Wings". We will be taking pre-orders beginning in December, with the album set to begin shipping first quarter '09. These advance orders will each be signed and personalized by the core band members & select guest artists. We will also include other exclusives for these orders to be detailed in a future post.

NEW PAGAN ALBUM FIRST DETAILS!!!

While the album is still in the early writing/recording stages, there are a few details I can share with you now. The title of the album is "On Black Wings", and it will be available on CD, vinyl & in digital formats (sorry 8-Track fans) world wide in early 2009. The album will feature songs with vocal arrangements alongside more ambient fare. A number of surprise guests will be making appearances in various capacities. There will be more details on that soon. The disc will also put more emphases on live instruments than past releases have. The main departure will be in the form of the dark & very person lyrics. This will not be for the faint of heart, and will be the first release under the PAGAN moniker to bear the "parental advisory" label.

PAGAN LIVE RITUALS DVD & 7" UPDATE!

"Live Rituals" the first DVD from PAGAN is being compiled now. The disc will feature live performances of the bands standards with full stage production. Features and ordering info are on the way. PAGAN's split 7" with Fainting Goat is being mastered now, and will be unleashed very shortly from our friends at Runic Records.

Better grab yourself a drink/smoke, because this is going to be along one folks. First off I just want to quickly mention that our friend DJ Ferret can be seen in HBO's new vampire documentary "True Bloodlines: A New Type", talking about the Ball & everyones fav flick "The Lost Boys". The special is timed to promote the networks "Southern Vampire" adaptation "True Blood". Check your local listings, or watch it on demand.

If you have been keeping up with Tyler Derk's blog, you know that he was involves in a serious car wreck last weekend. The team PAGAN injury report doesn't stop there: Blade Thornton has undergone a second bone related surgery. I wish them both a swift recovery and heavy doses of medication.

Pics from our upcoming film "Slasher" will be posted every week from now until the release, beginning with the smoldering joint above (taken from Ty's scene).

A very, VERY limited edition live CD titled "Live As Fuck" will be released in the coming months by MCB Entertainment. This release will feature solo performances by yours truly of PAGAN material, score music & more. The disc, which will boast deluxe packaging, will also be peppered with guest appearances. RECORD RELEASE PARTY

To celebrate the releases of "Trinity" & "Song of The Morning Star", PAGAN will be playing a FREE webcast concert which you can access live via Jam Now. Date, set list & special guests will be announced next week. Expect material from both discs as well as tracks from our upcoming Runic Records releases and possibly a few covers.

FALL/WINTER RELEASES

In August MCB Entertainment will release the compilation CD "Trinity" featuring PAGAN's 3 digital EP's plus 3 bonus tracks. August will also see the release of PAGAN's full length soundscape album "Song of The Morning Star". Both discs will feature special vinyl style packaging, and also be available in an extremely limited run on hard coat 24k gold discs in kick out cases. In September Runic Records will release a limited split 7" featuring PAGAN and The Fainting Goat. In October a FREE Halloween single will be released via our various web sites, with another holiday single to follow in December. Also be sure to look for another new PAGAN track in an upcoming issue of Terrorizer.
